Purdue's David Bell Picks Who Would Win In An Arm Wrestling Match Between Tom Allen & Jim Harbaugh
David Bell is an All-American and will definitely be playing on Sundays someday soon.
I sat down with him last week at my visit at Purdue to talk about both of us growing up in Indianapolis, his place in Warren Central football history, Indy food spots, and his thoughts on this upcoming year. But I had to ask him first, who would win in an arm wrestling match between Jeff Brohm and Tom Allen.
Of course he backed his head coach and quickly said Jeff Brohm. But then I turned it to who would win between Indiana head coach Tom Allen and Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh.
"I'd have to say Coach Allen," Bell said. "He's told me some interesting stories that he tried to breakup a fight when he was at Ole Miss and got his two front teeth knocked out. He never left practice after that until practice was over and that was at the very beginning of practice. So I'd have to say Coach Allen."
Going with the arch rival so you know it's real. The intensity between both Allen and Harbaugh is taylor made for an arm wrestling match. Give it to me on the 50 yard line in place of the coin toss before the game.
